About this mattress
The DreamCloud Ultra Memory Foam Mattress is built for sleepers who want a plush, body conforming feel with real temperature control. This medium firmness mattress uses a six-layer construction and stands 15 inches tall, giving it a substantial profile with plenty of cushioning up top.
At the top is a 4 inch quilted Euro top that blends memory foam with a temperature-regulating phase change material, so the surface pulls heat away as you settle in rather than trapping it. Beneath that sits a contouring memory foam layer that cradles the shoulders and hips for pressure point relief, followed by a multi-zone support layer that reinforces the lower back while still letting the shoulders and hips sink in. A foundational support foam base rounds out the construction, absorbing motion so movement on one side of the bed stays contained to that side.
All foams used in the DreamCloud Ultra are CertiPUR-US certified and made without fiberglass, an important detail for anyone who wants to avoid loose fiberglass fill inside the mattress cover.
Who it's for
The medium firmness and deep contouring make this a good fit for side and back sleepers who want pressure relief without sinking too far in, and for combination sleepers who move between positions through the night. Because the top layers isolate motion well, it also works nicely for couples sharing a bed.

The build
Fifteen inches, six layers
From the top down, as DreamCloud lists them:
- 4" CloudQuilt+ euro top. Quilted memory foam with cooling polyethylene fibers.
- Dynamic temperature control layer. Temperature-regulating phase change material.
- Contouring memory foam. Memory foam that contours to the body.
- Multi-zone targeted support layer. Five-zone support foam for the back, hips, shoulders, and knees.
- Stabilizing foundation layer. A higher-density foam base with reinforced edge support.
- Bottom cover. Durable, shift-resistant poly-blend fabric with handles.
15 inches in total. DreamCloud publishes the depth of the euro top only. The foams are CertiPUR-US certified, and the bed is 100% fiberglass-free.

Who it fits
The softest DreamCloud memory foam bed
Side sleepers: DreamCloud names side sleepers as the main fit. The 4-inch euro top and five-zone foam cushion the shoulders and hips.
Back sleepers: also on DreamCloud's list. The zoned support layer works under the back and hips.
Combination sleepers: DreamCloud lists them too, for cushioning at the top with some firmness kept below.

DreamCloud calls it Medium: a contouring top that still keeps some firmness. It is the softest of the four DreamCloud memory foam beds.
How is it different from the Ultra Hybrid?
This Ultra is all foam, on a higher-density foam base. The Ultra Hybrid adds individually wrapped coils, which DreamCloud says add stability and longevity and improve motion isolation. DreamCloud rates the memory foam Ultra firmer.
Ultra or Luxe Memory Foam?
The Luxe is 14 inches and Medium-Firm, with three-zone support foam for the back and hips. The Ultra is an inch taller, one step softer, and has a 4-inch euro top and five zones that add the shoulders and knees.
Does it sleep hot?
The Ultra has two cooling parts: cooling fibers in the CloudQuilt+ euro top, and a layer of temperature-regulating phase change material under it.
Does it have fiberglass?
No. DreamCloud lists it as 100% fiberglass-free, and its foams are CertiPUR-US certified for content, emissions, and durability.
How tall is it, and will my sheets fit?
15 inches. Choose fitted sheets made for mattresses 15 inches deep or more.
What base does it need?
No box spring is needed. DreamCloud says its mattresses work on most bed frames, adjustable bases included, and that a slatted frame is enough. DreamCloud does not recommend the floor, or plastic or homemade frames.
How long does it take to expand?
DreamCloud says its mattresses are ready for sleep a couple of hours after unboxing and can take up to 72 hours to reach full size. Air pressure, airflow, and room temperature can change the timing.
What warranty comes with it?
DreamCloud's Forever Warranty, a lifetime limited warranty for the original purchaser. Ask our team for the written warranty terms with your order.
Can I try it in a showroom?
Not this bed. It is sold online only at Mattress Overstock, so it is not set up on our showroom floors.
