Lie on it. Move across the cut. The air near you warms, and the layers that pass air carry it out through the sides while cool air comes in.
The drawing shows the idea. Air moves through the layers Molecule says pass air, and not through the others. It is not a measurement. Molecule publishes each bed’s height, not the depth of each layer, so the split between layers is illustrative.

Three feels
Three beds, 10 and 12 in.
Each Reflex has CoolVENT open-cell foam on top and LiftCOR gel bands under the middle of the bed. The two 12 in. beds add a layer of AirTEC foam between them. Molecule called the Boost Cushion Firm and the Embrace Plush.
