What does the Grid feel like?
Buoyant. It gives under a shoulder or hip, stays firm under your back, and springs back as soon as you move. There's none of the slow sink you get from memory foam, which is why it's worth lying on one before you decide.
Foam or hybrid?
The Purple Mattress and Purple Plus put the Grid over foam. Restore and Rejuvenate put it over pocketed coils, which add airflow and hold the edge better. If you sit on the side of the bed a lot or tend to sleep warm, start with a Restore.
Soft or Firm?
Side sleepers usually do better on Soft, because the shoulder and hip need room to sink. Back and stomach sleepers usually do better on Firm. Every Restore comes both ways at the same price.
Do I need different sheets?
From 13 inches up, plan on deep-pocket sheets. Standard fitted sheets fight a mattress that tall.
